Pork was one of the in demand supply of animal product since. Due to moderation today, you can’t count unto your finger how many processed pork products are there in the market. It is now come up with the new style, new name and brand, different manufacturers, and with different flavors.
Even if there were lots of products sold in every stores and markets, chorizo still stands as one of the most popular in the market. Meticulous mothers choose chorizo and include it into their dish sometimes saying “it should always be there because it is my sons or daughters favorite.
     Lots of people especially children likely enjoyed eating with chorizo. It may be in breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even brunch. No define meals can include chorizo.
     Wherever place you may go, the availability of chorizo is great, even in mini or popular fast foods chains and restaurant now include chorizo as one of their menu.
Others have made new recipes using their product. Everybody is familiar of chorizo when you mentioned it, they know about it, and loves it a lot. Come to think of it, when we stop at “ihaw-ihaw” we might choose to buy chorizo. It is so nice when it is come in barbecue flavor and has sauce. Cooking with chorizo is just so amazing; it adds so many flavors to recipe.
     Chorizo always refers to a pork sausage. This has been originated in Spain. It is firm, red colored sausage, usually spice with paprika and garlic. As of today, there were lots of manufactures producing this kind of product. Chorizo is traditionally needed to be cook before eaten, but due to different versions of producing, others sell it in ready to eat. It is no need to be cook before eating. Fortunately, chorizo is very popular, from its popularity it is now exported from other countries. Chorizo presence from different spices and the preservation content is very high like in the can goods products.
     In the Philippines, chorizo is called “longganisa” longganisa is much related to chorizo because it is also made of pork grounded and mixed with different spices especially the native one.
For some business, chorizo or longganisa came up with more buyers for it is affordable, easy to cook and have a distinctive smell making people famish. It has more advantage over the others. Chorizo can be a fresh sausage in which case in must be cooked before eating. In some other cases it is often slice and eaten without the effort in cooking.
We can’t stop the wideness of the market today. Everyone or perhaps the customer wanted to try some of the new produced product like chorizo which is now can be said as one of the “eye picking” product. Its economic value appreciated most; chorizo helped the economy to boost.
